Practitioner Peer Support StudyA study sponsored by GROW

About the study

Why this study, and who runs it

Practitioners often help each other with the business side of their work, but little is written down about what that support looks like.

What we want to understand

The study explores informal business support exchanged between UK health and wellness practitioners: what happens, what people find useful, the difficulties and boundaries involved, and whether this kind of support is sustainable for the people who give it.

GROW’s role

The study is run and paid for by GROW (Sole Trader Courses Ltd, trading as GROW Formula). GROW also sells business education and support to practitioners, so it has a commercial interest in this topic. We think you should know that before deciding whether to take part.

To keep the research separate from that commercial work:

  • The questionnaire asks no sales, coaching-interest or contact questions.
  • Research responses are never used to identify prospective customers or GROW Coaches.
  • Optional email subscriptions are stored separately and are never linked to questionnaire answers.
  • Reports state GROW’s interests and include findings that are negative or commercially inconvenient.

What this study is not

It does not claim to represent all UK practitioners. It is separate from GROW’s other research projects.
