The Practitioner Peer Support Study
Help build the first real picture of how self-employed health and wellness practitioners support each other with the business side of practice.
What actually helps, what doesn’t and where the gaps are. It takes about five minutes, and your experience, whatever it looks like, makes that picture sharper.

Why take part
Your experience is the evidence
Informal support, a word-of-mouth tip, a fellow practitioner’s pricing advice, a shared space, happens constantly in this sector, yet almost nobody has studied it. That means decisions about practitioner support are being made without hearing from the people who live it.
- Shape better support
- Your answers help build the first real picture of how practitioners help each other with the business side of practice. That picture guides what support gets built next.
- Every experience counts
- Whether informal support has saved your business, let you down, or simply never happened, your story matters. Gaps are just as valuable as successes.
- See what we learn
- Findings are published on this site as reports. If you want to be told when a new one lands, you can sign up for study updates separately.

Reading the findings
What this study can and can’t tell us
Findings describe the experiences of the people who chose to respond. They cannot establish that informal support causes better business outcomes, and they are not a representative picture of every practitioner in the UK.
GROW sponsors the study and also offers commercial business education and support. Read about GROW’s role.
Ready when you are
Five minutes now helps shape support for years to come
The more practitioners who respond, the clearer the picture becomes for everyone in the sector.
